So how about that new Microsoft 365. What a great idea to make a simple GUI for project building, paper writing, power point making, etc. But whats that I hear? The sound of money slipping out of my account for a monthly service fee? Back in the day when Microsoft was taking over the world it only charged $20-$50 for its software. Most software came bundled with computers or the OS itself. Now since Microsoft was reigning a monopoly they were forced to break up the company and charge more for their great services. I can't stand to pay $100 just for word or $300 for the latest copy of Office. Now lets pay a smaller monthly service fee that will add up over the course of a year to be more than its previous copies released. I'm sorry but I think we need to revisit the monopoly idea.
